Meet Rowan and Mindda Lynam
Head Chef Rowan Lynam and his wife Mindda are the dynamic duo behind Blackhorse Carvery in Post Office Square.
Mindda serves as the operational brains of the carvery, ensuring everything runs smoothly with her keen attention to detail while being the front-facing person of the business. This allows Rowan to focus on his culinary expertise, where he brings a unique flair to the carvery, serving quality meats cooked to perfection using professional techniques. Blackhorse Carvery also offers a broad range of salads made fresh every day, along with delicious baked vegetables.
With a passion for culinary creativity, Rowan combines fine dining techniques with an imaginative twist, embodied by his playful mascot, the Horseman. This mascot not only represents Rowan’s fun and approachable style but also enhances the dining experience with its whimsical charm.
Rowan is dedicated to creating exceptional dishes while fostering a vibrant atmosphere. His artistic approach extends beyond the kitchen, as he designs engaging promotional materials that keep the Carvery experience fresh and exciting.
The Horseman, a laid-back figure in blue jeans and a leather jacket, symbolises the spirit of Blackhorse Carvery, reminding patrons that great food and good times go hand in hand.
Blackhorse Carvery, located in the heart of Post Office Square, is open every weekday from 6 am for breakfast, lunch, and take-home dinners.
