For 25 years, Lena’s Bakehouse has been a beloved fixture at Post Office Square, earning a reputation for its daily batch of delicious, homemade sweet and savoury delights.
Their quiches, traditional pies, and sausage rolls are baked fresh every day from cherished original recipes. Regulars rave about the perfect steak and mushroom pies, the secret-recipe mushy peas, and the best-ever vegetable quiches.
Peter and Lena’s dedication to quality is evident in their offerings.
Lena’s background includes managing restaurants in Far North Queensland, while Peter’s journey in food began in his early 20s and includes owning and managing pizza shops. Their extensive experience, coupled with their genuine passion for food, ensures that every item from Lena’s Bakehouse is crafted with care.
