Blackhorse Carvery catering to all your meal needs

A freshly cooked burger or sandwich with a just ground and brewed coffee for breakfast; slow roasted meat on artisan bread for lunch; a take home roast meal box for dinner – Blackhorse Carvery, opening soon in Post Office Square, will have your meal needs for the day sorted!

Blackhorse Carvery owner, Rowan Lynam, said they are deep into the fit out of the eatery which is set to open in mid-July and will offer quality cooked meats with a wide range of salads and sauces also available.

“When we were looking for a new location for our third location in the CBD, we knew Post Office Square was the right place for us and the menu we offer our diners,” Rowan explained.

“We like being in the mix of things in the centre of town and we like Post Office Square’s new look and feel. The refurbishment allows each tenant to personalise their space and I’m excited to see what we can do with ours.

“We are so excited to be opening our store and becoming a long-term fixture of Post Office Square.”

Rowan explained that the high level of passing foot traffic through the centre “will be a large part of our targeted trade with on-the-run breakfast and own brand specialty coffee”.

He added that the carvery’s most in-demand menu item was “definitely” the bacon and egg roll with hash brown and coffee breakfast deal.

“For lunch, it’s hard to say what is most in demand because all of the roast meals are popular as are the sandwiches and the salads with roast meats. We also know the take home roast deals will be popular with those who are strapped for time but still want to eat well.”

“We aim to provide affordable meal options five days a week and also do catering for surrounding buildings.”

Also popular will be Rundy, a fixture of the city’s food industry for years, who will be there greeting customers and offering his trademark huge smile and corny jokes.

Blackhorse Carvery will be open Monday to Friday between 6am and 3pm.
