Vietnamese street eatery chooses Post Office Square to expand its business
When the owners of Vietnamese street food restaurant Bake N Grill were looking to branch out with a new eatery, they looked to the centre of Brisbane’s CBD and signed a long-term lease with Post Office Square.
Bake N Grill owners May Tra and Leo Pham, explained the success of their first eatery at South Bank had encouraged them to expand the business with a new store and Post Office Square made sense as the location.
“Post Office Square is such a busy and crowded place with students, office workers, convenient for public transportation and also right next to the city centre, we knew it was a good location for us,” she said.
“There is a freshness, modernity and beauty to the renovation of Post Office Square; it seems to have taken on a completely different look and we feel very proud to be a part of this project.”
May said they had signed a long-term lease with the centre because they believed the centre was being reinvigorated for a sustainable long-term future.
“We made a long-term commitment at Post Office Square because we believe it is on the rise and it is a great joy for us to have a location in the heart of the city.”
Bake N Grill sells banh mi, pho, iced coffee, vermicelli salad bowl, rice paper rolls, rice bowl, spring rolls and meatballs.
Most popular among patrons are the pho (pronounced fuh) and the banh mi (bread rolls). All ingredients are sourced daily and locally or made in-house including the artisan-crafted banh mi rolls, fresh meats grilled with aromatic flavors, special marinades and vegetables.
